Airbender Passes $100 Million in 11 Days

11.07.10

Box Office Mojo is reporting that The Last Airbender has pulled in a little over $17 million this past weekend, placing it 5th overall for the 3-day take. Slightly out-performing expectations again, Airbender was expected to drop-off hard to due reviews and losing many of its 3D screens to Despicable Me. Despite those obstacles, The Last Airbender has now passed the $100 million mark in the US box-office. It has additionally made an estimated $10 million from overseas markets - which I believe currently are only India and Russia (where it was just released this weekend.)
