KRS FILM DISTRIBUTORS LIMITED - MALTA

 

KRS Film Distributors Limited was formed in 1946 under the former name of Malta United Film Corporation.

Throughout its years of operation, over 10,000 film productions have been launched by the Company in Malta and Gozo, distributing product from more than forty countries.

Servicing seven cinema complexes with a total of 42 screens, the Company's primary objective is to motivate the Maltese public to frequent the cinema, and KRS, in collaboration with cinema exhibitors, organizes various events amongst which are:-

The Company also supports and encourages film education by providing specially selected films for exhibition to schools.

KRS is also a founder member of the local organization AACT (Association Against Copyright Theft) set up to combat video and DVD piracy and other forms of copyright theft.
